Biography//
Singer / songwriter and music maker born in Italy, living between London and Paris, graduated in popular music studies from Goldsmiths University of London where university peers like Katy B, James Blake, Portico Quartet, Rosie Lowe emerged.
The songstress is a strong leading vocalist in different musical fields, founder/co-founder of projects like After Eight (melodic rock) MasQua (jazz electronica), Afrodizzie (afrobeat) and the latest Terra Viva exploring deeply rooted Italian music tradition mixed with gipsy/jazz and London influences.
Most recent collaborations featuring Angelina are with Parisian dub band Sparky Riot with the track ‘Squat’ just release in Jan 2017 and a new collaboration with Uncle Nola featuring Angelina in ‘Hear That Swing’ a catchy folk gipsy tune coming out for summer 2017 with released by electro swing label Green Queen Music.
Her music shows a wide spectrum of musical influences, exploring the sonic themes of electronic music while wrapping them in string-laden folk and orchestration creating an elegantly poppy space with a tinge of melancholy and mystery.
